For the third consecutive year, TRITON 3 returns to the Portobello Resort in Mangaratiba, solidifying its place as one of the most awaited events on the calendar. This new stage promises to be even better, with adjustments to the timing system and the release of results in a much faster and more efficient manner, creating intense competition and strategic challenges.
What's the difference?
The event takes place over 3 consecutive days, with an innovative scoring system that sums up the placements in each discipline! A unique sporting experience that takes triathlon to another level, making TRITON 3 much more than just a race, but an unforgettable experience!
Friday (21/08) - Swimming
Saturday (22/08) - Cycling
Sunday (23/08) - Running
This format allows not only triathletes but also swimmers, cyclists, and runners to participate individually or as a team (relay).

COMPETITION OPTIONS
INDIVIDUAL TRIATHLON:
Your final ranking (after the three days of competition) will be based on the sum of your placements in each discipline: swimming + cycling + running.
Choose one of the distances listed in the table above and challenge yourself!
RELAY TRIATHLON (CORPORATE):
Available only for the SPRINT distance.
Form your team in pairs or trios. Each member completes one discipline, and everyone crosses the finish line together! If you choose a pair, one person will need to complete more than one discipline. The final ranking is also based on the sum of each member's placement in each discipline.
INDIVIDUAL DISCIPLINES:
Choose 1 or 2 disciplines, select your distance, and register!
Individual races do not count toward the final TRITON ranking (after the 3 days), but they are eligible for discipline-specific awards. There are daily prizes for swimming, cycling, and running.
TRITON KIDS
RUNNING: The race will be divided into heats and distances according to age groups:
0 to 3 years: 50 m
4 to 5 years: 100 m
6 to 7 years: 300 m
8 to 9 years: 600 m
AQUATHLON: This event will be sequential, starting with swimming, followed by a short transition, and then the running segment. It will also be divided into heats and distances according to age groups:
8 to 9 years: 90 m swim + 600 m run
10 to 11 years: 180 m swim + 600 m run
12 to 13 years: 270 m swim + 600 m run
PARTICIPATION KIT
Recognized by many athletes as the best triathlon kit currently available, the TRITON participation kit includes everything you need to take on the race: swim cap, tattoo, bike sticker sheet, race bib, participation T-shirt, exclusive sponsor gifts, and an amazing TRITON backpack!
For the relay category, the kit includes only one backpack, but additional backpacks can be purchased during registration.
For individual races (swimming, cycling, and running), the kit does not include a backpack, but you can add it to your registration and secure this iconic TRITON item.

KIT FINISHER
The finisher kit is exclusive to triathletes who complete all three days of the race. Athletes registered only for individual discipline events will not receive the finisher T-shirt but will be awarded a medal at the end of each discipline.
ONE-DAY LICENSE
To pick up the kit and compete in TRITON 3 RJ, all triathlon participants who are **not registered with any Triathlon Federation in Brazil** must pay the ONE-DAY LICENSE.
Athletes registered with the Rio de Janeiro federation or any other federation in the country are exempt from this fee.
