ABOUT THE EVENT
The 100th São Silvestre International Race, created by journalist Cásper Líbero, will be held on December 31, 2025, starting on Avenida Paulista in São Paulo, covering a 15-km route.
The event is open to participants of all genders, duly registered and able to participate in sports. The race is run by the Cásper Líbero Foundation (FCL), produced by the Gazeta Esportiva website, promoted by TV Gazeta, and organized by VEGA SPORTS (VEGA).

The General Platoon starts will be made in waves according to the pace chosen at the time of registration and will be announced in advance on the website and in each athlete's registration email.
Athletes must arrive at their starting location at least 45 minutes in advance. Any athlete who starts the event after the scheduled start time may be disqualified and prevented from participating.

PARTICIPATION OF ATHLETES AGED 60 AND OVER
Seniors over 60 years of age will receive a 50% discount on the Basic Kit, depending on the batch period. This discount does not apply to the Centennial or Premium Kit.
To improve participant experience and considering the increase in the number of publicly witnessed and reported fraud cases in previous editions, in which individuals aged 60 or older register and then transfer their registration to third parties, this year there will be a special area at the kit drop-off to better assist and verify the documents of those registered in this category. For classification, easy recognition, and monitoring purposes, the bib number for this category will be differentiated. The finish line will also have cameras to identify all participating athletes.

a) ATHLETES invited directly by VEGA;
b) ATHLETES with a technical resume containing at least two proven times in official events with a "Permit" from State Federations, the CBAt (Brazilian Athletics Confederation), and/or International Federations, held within the last 12 (twelve) months from the date of the request;
c) The ATHLETE must have an active registration with the Brazilian Athletics Confederation (CBAt).
d) For review of the request, the ATHLETE must send an email to [email protected], providing: (i) Full name; (ii) Date of submission; and (iii) Events and respective times that meet the criteria in items 6.2.2 and 6.2.3 of the regulations.
e) Be 18 (eighteen) years of age or older on the date of the event.
